If the yarn is too thick for the carabiner, it will not wind well. The number of windings will increase, but it is best to use yarn that makes you think, “Is it a little thin?”

Let’s make it! It’s easy to make, but you need to be careful because it’s easy to unravel. Let’s make some modifications to make it last longer.

 

1. Cut the yarn to the appropriate length. If it is too long, it will be easy to get entangled, so I cut it to about 70 cm.

 

2. Use cellophane tape to fasten the yarn to the carabiner.

 

3. Start winding from the end. Be careful not to let the yarn sag!

 

4. If you run out of yarn, tie it once and glue the knot with a woodworking bond.
