Customize outdoor equipment! Paracord knitting work [strap edition]

The rope can be knitted into a strip. It doesn’t seem easy to incorporate, but it’s simple if you remember the pattern. It is also attractive to be able to make various arrangements. You can combine leather with the shoulder rest or add a rope and knit it thicker. Let’s master the flat knitting and make a strap，make a new outdoor gear.

Basics of flat knitting

Flat nets are knitted by folding the center of two strings into four. The starting point is fixed to the mounting bracket, as shown in the photo.

[How to knit]

With the two in the middle of the paratope as the axis, first, pass the string on the right side from the top of the axis to the left.

Pass the left string over the correct row, pass through the shaft, and tighten it through the right ring.

Next, tighten with the left side on the axis and the right side on the bottom. This is repeated alternately.

[End treatment]

Pass the end of the pararope through another metal fitting and pass it through the original stitch again.

The knitting materials on both sides of the pararope are also fixed by passing them through the stitches to return.

Cut the rest string. Fire the edges with a lighter to prevent fraying.

Mallet for drilling leather & perforation 4.5 mm, tanned leather, paracord 7 m x 2, scissors, lighter, carabiner & round ring metal fittings two each.

Punch holes around the leather for copy shoulder rest at intervals of about 1 cm.

After flat knitting about 30 cm of pararope, pass the two shafts through the holes at the leather ends.

Divide the para-rope shaft into left and right, and pass it through the hole as if you were bending the edge of the leather.

Separate the left and suitable knitting materials of the pararope in the same way, and pass them through the same hole from the opposite direction of the shaft.

Scissors, lighters, Naskan for straps x 2, paracords are available: Moss Green 7m x 2 and Orange 4m x 1.

After knitting about 20 cm with pararope flat knitting, tie an orange string to the two shafts.

Divide each of the three pararopes into left and right, make one shaft, and start flat knitting with three.

Pararope flat knitting is a set of 2 stitches. After knitting twice, go to the next three.

A set of left and right pararopes knitted (the orange string is on the outside).

The two in the middle of the pararope are crossed and replaced, as shown in the photo.

The rest is repeated—Knit the left and right sets by crossing the shaft strings.

Complete!
