Pearl Dream – Folding Knife is handcrafted by American folding knife master Steve Hull, and it is Steve’s most classic style.

Because the outline inlaid in the middle of the handle looks like a Coke bottle, it is also called a “Coke bottle” folding knife, which is highly recognizable.

The blade is made of ATS34 stainless steel, the handle is made of 416 stainless steel and inlaid with fine mother-of-pearl.

This work is Barry’s second folding knife inlaid with baby’s breath diamonds, which is extremely luxurious. The theme of the carving is the “leaf of newborn” designed by Barry, which is made of 24K gold, and each leaf is carefully carved under a microscope.

To make the overall performance more vivid, Barry uses a variety of carving techniques. The leaves covering the mother-of-pearl are expressed by gold inlay carving techniques, while the leaves on the metal areas at both ends of the handle exist in the form of gold high relief. All the leaves are connected by a main branch. Barry deliberately traced the line on the edge of the mother-of-pearl. The main branch seems to “sink into the water” when it comes here, and then “surfacing” from the edge of the metal area.

Such a coherent picture, coupled with the transparent and holy characteristics of mother-of-pearl, is even more poetic.

A total of 631 VSF and above diamonds are used around the handle, and the diamonds in each area are fully arranged, creating a dreamlike artistic conception together with the golden branches and leaves.

Autumn Leaves Story ——The folding knife is completely handmade by American folding knife master Ron Lake, and it is a large-sized blade of Ron.

Ron is the inventor of the frame folding knife and also invented a special tail lock, enjoying the reputation of “the father of the frame folding knife”. The blade is made of ATS34 stainless steel, the handle is made of 416 stainless steel and inlaid with fine mother-of-pearl, and the end of the folding knife has a removable rose gold toothpick.

The blade engraving adopts Barry’s original “burning engraving” technique, which can custom exquisite patterns from gold with a thickness of less than 1 micron (0.001 mm) without using any engraving. When the surface of the blade is treated with matte gray technique, the golden branches and leaves formed by “burning carving” give people an illusion of “sketching”, which can be described as a new form of expression in the field of modern metal carving.

The metal part of the handle is carved with delicate patterns of branches and leaves, and some leaves are carved from 24K gold and 18K green gold with rich colors.

On the mother-of-pearl, the pattern of golden branches and leaves is carved with inlay technology, as if “floating” on the water. The back of the handle is finished using the same manufacturing process as the blade, and is inlaid with gold lines to outline the edge of the pattern.

The mother-of-pearl is secured by rose gold rivets, and the rose gold toothpicks are embellished with diamonds.

2014 Stresa Steel Art Exhibition, Italy.

The short sword is made by American sword art master Steve Johnson. The blade is ground from CPM154 powder steel. The handguard and tail iron are made of 416 stainless steel. The hilt is inlaid with exquisite mother-of-pearl.

Since 2014 is Stresa’s first steel art exhibition, both Barry and Steve attach great importance to it. After repeated negotiations, the “golden ratio” concept was taken as the core idea of the design. The golden section originated from Pythagoras, an ancient Greek mathematician, and was later carried forward by the Italians in artistic applications. The work is also a tribute to Pythagoras.

The dagger seems to have a simple shape, but it is very rigorous in design. After rigorous composition, the ratio of the blade, the ratio of the hand guard, the ratio of the hilt and other positions coincide with the “golden ratio”.

In order not to affect the application of the “golden ratio” on the sculpture, the direction of the branches and leaves is based on the element of “balance” rather than absolute “symmetry”. The golden branches and leaves are still made of 24K gold and 18K green gold, with rich colors.

The end of the blade, the middle of the gauntlet, and the front of the tail iron are all treated with a matte gray bottom, and inlaid with 62 diamonds to create a visual effect of stars in the night sky. The golden branches and leaves seem to hang in the night sky, romantic and shining.
