Here is a 40-year-old precious knife

I will soon reach retirement age.

The reason for the camp was a boy scout who started in the lower grades of elementary school.

After becoming a junior high school student, I started going camping even in private, and I used to cut trees, cook, sometimes bush, and mow the night camp.

Partly because I became a college student and left home, I had been away from the camp for a while, but by the time I was 30, I had children, and this time I decided to start camping with my children. When I looked for the camping gear left behind in my parents’ house, most of the things were gone, but my father kept this knife on oil paper.

It’s been more than 20 years since then, and more than 40 years ago, I still use it for bushcraft, feather sticks, and sometimes for judging river fish.

I have a few other small knives, such as Opinel, but this one I’ve used for many years has come along nicely, and even if I don’t have any other cutters, this one is an integral part of my camp. Yes, for me, it is the best fixed blade knife

Above all, I thank my father for sending me to the camp since I was a kid, and I will continue to take good care of it until the day I retire from the camp.
